FiLIP TECHNOLOGIESLimited Warranty for your FiLIP™ Device
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship in the FiLIP™ Device under normal use when used in compliance with the User Manual.
How long does the coverage last?
The warranty coverage lasts for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase from an authorized FiLIP™ reseller. This warranty is only available to the original purchaser of the Filip Device. If the FiLIP™ Device is replaced pursuant to this warranty, then the user shall have a warranty period for the replacement Filip Device for the longer of the remaining term of the original warranty or 90 days. Filip Technologies reserves the right to require proof of purchase for service under this Warranty.
What will Filip Technologies do in the event of a Warranty claim?
If FiLIP™ confirms that a FiLIP™ Device is covered by the warranty, Filip Technologies will replace the FiLIP™ Device with a new or refurbished FiLIP™ Device at no charge to you. Replacement devices usually ship 4-6 weeks after the Warranty claim is completed and approved.
What does this Warranty not cover?
This warranty does not cover defects or malfunctions caused by abuse, normal wear and tear, exposure to water, cosmetic damage, accidents, usage contrary to the User Manual, accessories or hardware/software not provided by Filip Technologies, lost or stolen Devices or other damaged caused other than a defect or malfunction in the design or operation of the Device. This warranty is void if the Device is altered, modified or tampered with by any party other than Filip. This warranty does not cover any third party products or services, such as from a wireless carrier, app store/platform or other smartphone manufacturer. Filip Technologies is under no obligation to provide services related to a problem with the wireless carrier for the FiLIP™ Device if the Filip Device otherwise is functioning properly.
How can I get Warranty service?
In order to be eligible for service under this warranty, you must do the following:

If the your FiLIP™ device is still not functioning properly please contact us at support.myfilip.com. We will help determine whether your FiLIP™ Device requires service and, if it does, will inform you how it will provide it.
Filip Technologies will provide a Mail-in warranty service. Filip Technologies will send you a prepaid waybills and if applicable, packaging material, so that you may ship your FiLIP™ Device to its Warranty Service location in accordance with Filip Technologies’ instructions. You should only return the defective device and/or part(s), and keep all other parts (e.g. charge cable, wall adapter and spacers). We will only replace and return the defective part.
Once service is complete Filip Technologies will return the FiLIP™ Device to you. Filip Technologies will pay for shipping to and from your location if all instructions are followed.
Filip Technologies may require credit card authorization as security for shipping, handling and inspection charges incase your device is found not to be covered by Warranty
